Winter Olympics Day three- Slalom

The skies are slightly overcast and the snow is packed tight. Ideal conditions for our Olympians today as they competed in the Slalom downhill event. Our favorite, Alex, has proved himself today. He gracefully and forcefuly at the same time went down that hill dodging in and out of the gates with great speed and agility. That grace and strength allowed him to place Gold in today's events. Caroline was our Silver Medalist today. Although she demonstrated grace as well we had equipment issues. Her ski's fell of multiple times and getting them back on set her in second. This event is one of the hardest for Porter. He has trained for years but the fine grace to weave in and out of the gates seemed to elude him. He is relying heavily on the Gold and Silver that he placed on yesterday and Monday to carry him through this event. Our spectators eagerly cheered on our Athletes even going as far as to storm the track before they started. This incident was quickly put under control and the offending party was removed to his crib for a nap.
